So you’ve clicked “Submit” on your Tezpur University application through distance education, congratulations! That’s the first milestone hurdle crossed. But now the part everyone hates: waiting for the confirmation.

How to Check Your TEZU CDOE Admission Status
The Center for Distance and Online education (CDOE) at Tezpur University has a digital portal. You dont have to call the office or send emails on daily basis, Follow below steps
- Go to the Admission Portal: Click on the official TEZU CDOE Admission page
- Login to your account: Enter the Username and Password that you registered with
- Go to the Dashboard: Once logged in, click on the “Application Status” or “My Applications” tab
- View your status: The status will be shown (Pending, Provisionally admitted, Confirmed)
Understanding the Admission Status Labels

Pending / Under Process: Your application is in queue. The university is in process of authenticating your uploaded documents and payment.
Provisionally Admitted: You’re in, congrats! The university is waiting to confirm authenticity of the original documents or a specific fee clearance.
Rejected / Discrepancy Found: No need to worry. This means usually that a document is blurry or a certificate is missing. You will normally be offered an opportunity to submit the correct file again.
Confirmed: Your are a student of Tezpur University! Enrollment number and ID card will be sent soon.

- Catch Problems Early: If you upload a doc and it goes into the ether, or if the file is so pixelated you can’t read it, you’ll only know that there’s a problem if you check your status before the deadline.
- Verify Your Payment: “Payment Pending” is the most common reason for a hold. Just make sure the university has seen your fee, otherwise you could lose out on your spot.
- Stay Ahead: 28/Feb/26 The deadline is approaching. If you are aware of your standing you will avoid last minute errors.
- Better than Nothing: Once you see that Confirmed message, the stress will be over and the reading can start!
What to Do If Your Admission Status Is Not Updated?
If you have submitted all your papers and paid your fees, but your status is not updated in more than a week, then don’t worry for there are some steps you can follow. The system might need a manual push from the admin team.
1: Wait at least 48 Hours
If you have just paid your fees, wait for atleast 48 hours as banking servers and university portals are not always immediate.
2: Call Them for Admission Queries
If you notice that your documents are in “review” status for a long time, Call the admission office. They are usually available from 9.30 AM to 4.30 PM.

This is a sync issue between the portal and the bank. Try waiting for 24–48 hrs then if the status is still not updated please email the CDOE helpdesk with the transaction receipt.
It is not possible to change the course if admission has been confirmed. For special request, please contact Director of CDOE.
The Enrollment Number will be generated once your status is “Confirmed.” It is usually visible on your student dashboard after a few days.
Your digital ID card will be available on your student dashboard in 15-20 working days from your admission confirmation.
